01Who we are
This website is operated by Grit. Grit is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.
For anything about your personal data, write to us through the channels on our contact page.
02What we collect
This site has no forms and no accounts. When you write to us by email, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. When you call us or send a text message, we receive your phone number and what you tell or send us. When you write to us on WhatsApp, X or Instagram, you do so on that platform, under its own privacy terms, and we receive what you send there.
When you visit the site, our hosting and security provider processes technical data that every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, not to identify you.
The site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. To see how many people visit and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: it uses no cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint you, and shows us only totals, such as page views, countries, referring sites and device types. Your language choice is part of the page address and is not stored on your device. Our fonts are served from our own site, so no request goes to a third-party font service.
On the RADAR page you can type questions into RADAR's guide, an AI assistant. What you type there is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, run by Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting provider, only to generate the answer. Grit does not store these questions or the answers. Please do not enter personal data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions about our products (KVKK art. 5(2)(f); GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
03Why we use it, and on what legal basis
We use what you send us only to answer you, to keep your RADAR early-access request until a place opens and tell you when it does, and, at your request, to take steps toward working together. The legal basis is the establishment or performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (KVKK art. 5(2)(c) and (f); GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
We use technical request data to operate and secure the site, on the basis of our legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5(2)(f); GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
We count visits in aggregate, to understand how the site is used and to improve it, on the basis of our legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5(2)(f); GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). These statistics do not identify you.
04How long we keep it
We keep your messages for as long as we need them to handle your request, and delete our copy no later than 12 months after our last exchange, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. The platform you wrote on keeps its own copy under its own terms. Technical request data is kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes.
05Who receives it
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes the technical request data on our behalf. Cloudflare runs servers in many countries, so this data may be processed outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Our email runs on Gmail, a Google service: Google stores and processes the emails you send us under its own terms, including outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area. Calls and text messages are carried by the telephone operators involved. When you write to us on WhatsApp, X or Instagram, Meta (for WhatsApp and Instagram) and X process your message as separate data controllers under their own terms, including outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area. We do not sell personal data.
Questions typed into RADAR's guide are processed by Cloudflare, Inc. through Cloudflare Workers AI, on our behalf, to generate an answer. This may take place outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Grit does not store these questions.
06Your rights
Under KVKK article 11 you may learn whether your data is processed, ask for information about it, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties it is transferred to, ask for correction, deletion or destruction, ask that these steps be notified to third parties, object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Under the GDPR you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or to the data protection authority where you live.
07How to use your rights
Write to us through the channels on our contact page and tell us which right you want to use. We answer free of charge, without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days (under the GDPR, within one month if that ends sooner). Under KVKK, if answering has a separate cost, we may charge only the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
08Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and its date. Where a translation differs, the Turkish text prevails for users in Türkiye and the English text for everyone else.
